A document editor is only useful if you trust it with the document.
Local-first editing
Rendering, annotating and exporting all happen inside your browser tab. The file never leaves your device to be edited — it is only uploaded if you choose to save it to your account.
Explicit AI requests
Only when you ask the assistant a question is the extracted text sent to the AI service for that answer. Nothing is retained afterwards.
You decide what is stored
Nothing is stored unless you press "Save to my account". Saved documents sit in private storage that only your account can open, and you can delete them at any time.
Real redaction
Redaction blocks are drawn into the exported page content rather than layered as removable annotations.
